Music Samples

Here are a few ideas of mine with short descriptions.  All of these are instrumental except for the last one.  No special meaning attached to the names; they're just things to help me remember when & where I wrote/recorded them, and what they're about.

Click on the links below to play them, or right-click to save them to your computer.  Or you can click here to open them up in a playlist on your computers media player.  They will play in the order shown below, but you can skip songs by pressing the "forward" button on your player.

Triple Mochachino Blowout - odd time sig., mellotron experimental

First Night in SO - Idea I came up with when I moved to Sherman Oaks.

Pitched to DJ and Fast Pitched - Two songs with some experimental chord pitch-shifting on my guitar.  Probably the kernels for future songs.

Easter Bits - Kind of a low-key, otherworldly sound to it.  Ethereal, I guess.

Basement Dirt - A bit dark, but not in an in-your-face way.  The name actually fits this one pretty well.

I'm Hard To Love - It's the instrumentation to a song that I have words for, but is kind of upbeat and happy in its sound.

Driving Beat - Yes, it has a bit of a driving beat.  Very cool sounding.  Reminds me of taking a road trip or skimming real low over the water on a lake.  Other people have told me that, as well.

Smooth Groove DADGAD - Low key sound.  I really like the flavor of this one and hope to expand on it someday.

Jam Up North - A bit of a happy samba feel to it.  Wicked solo at the end.
